My Role
Deliver effective, timely and influential communication and
engagement to internal and external stakeholders to
support the realisation of Queensland Health's operational strategy.
Develop an understanding of the
operating environment, strategic priorities, activities and issues, develop key messages and relevant content to support effective
stakeholder engagement and manage Queensland Health's reputation.
Effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders to
ensure consistency and coordination of internal and external
communications aligned with Queensland Health's strategic
direction and the achievement of its key performance indicators.
As well as the delivery of effective media
engagement through actively monitoring media channels and generating
professional pro-active media material, also work closely with the CEO, Board of the District Hinterland and Health Service and senior medical staff to
respond to ad hoc media enquiries and management of issues arising in
the media.
